My process for custom blog posts begins by learning what you need. I also gather factual information about your topic. You can find out more about how I work with different projects.

Step One – You complete and send back the task instruction form

Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a download or link to a task instruction form.  The task instruction form sets out your expectations. It also helps me to gather information about your topic and aims. Once completed, you return the form so I can start writing.

  • British English.
  • Australian English.
  • American English.
  • Canadian English.
  • New Zealand English.

Step Two – I gather information about your topic.

After I review your completed task instruction form, I then start working on your blog topic. When writing for others, my first steps gather more information about the topic. I may source original instruction manuals or qualified texts on areas associated with your topic. I may also request an interview with you if the topic requires information such as a personal process.

Step Three – I write your blog post.

With the information I’ve gathered, I write your blog article.  I produce two to three drafts before sending you a draft for your review. The draft links to a:

  • Product in your online shop or a previous blog post.
  • Second blog post or page on your website.
  • Qualified external link.

The task instruction form informs the topic, writing style, SEO and voice.

Step Four – I send you a draft.

The draft will either be in MS Word Format or a text file format.  If you prefer a different format such as google docs, just let me know in advance and I’ll confirm if this is available.

The word file includes the text for a blog post. I style the text in Arial 12 point with links and bolded headings.

I generally don’t include images with my writing. But if you want me to source image suggestions, I add suggestions from Dreamstime or for an additional admin fee.

Delivery is via download or email, five working days after my writing start date. Th delivery date is dependent upon receiving materials from you and an interview if required.

Step Five – You review the draft.

You send back the draft and indicate any changes or corrections. We can skip this step and go straight to step six if you’re satisfied with the post.

Step Six – We finalize your blog post.

If you’re happy with your custom blog post, you sign off on its completion and I transfer the copyright ownership. Once completed, the blog post is yours to keep.
