Revised Artist Statement Expectations

I’ll work with you to improve your current artist statement.

The Process

Step One – Payment confirmation and review

I confirm your payment and review the information you have provided.

Step Two – Revision

I work my writing magic on your statement. I aim to make your statement easier to read and understand. That means removing artsy language while retaining your message and reader’s interest in your art.

I’ll also revise your artist statement to fit your required word limit.

Step Three – I send you a revised version with feedback

The revised version will be either an MS Word or Text file.  Delivery is via download or email, ten working days after your purchase.

Step Four – You review the new version

You return the new version with changes. We can skip this step and go straight to the final step if you’re already happy with the revised statement.

I aim to create a short and easy-to-read statement. Additional amendments based on word preference may incur an extra fee. So, make sure you communicate all the changes clearly when you review the new version.

We can discuss the changes and feedback over Skype or through Facebook Messenger.

Step Five – We finalize your statement

At the end of the process, the revised artist statement is yours to keep. You retain the copyright.
